INTRODUCTION
MohammadAli Jinnah University is chartered by the Government of Sindh as a comprehensive institution, authorized to award earned or honorary degrees at all levels, from Associate to Doctorate, in all disciplines, ranging from Accounting to Zoology. The University follows the American system of imparting education. It fulfils all pre-requisites and degree requirements comparable to any good accredited university in the world. A number of international academic evaluation agencies have evaluated our degrees as being equal to a degree awarded by any accredited university in the world. The dream to provide quality education to the youth of Pakistan is gradually being realized with the establishment of the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, which has two campuses, one atKarachi and the other at Islamabad.

HISTORY:
The Punjab Group of Colleges has been serving the community with quality education since 1985. Punjab College of Commerce was the first institution to be established by the Group atLahore. It is continuing to expand its horizons by establishing branches in various cities of Punjab.
Under the Punjab Group of Colleges, Punjab College of Business Administration (PCBA) and Punjab Institution of Computer Sciences (PICS) have emerged as highly specialized business and computer science institutions. Punjab Law College and Punjab College of Information Technology are two more links to this rapidly expanding chain of colleges.
As a tribute to the name of the Father of the Nation, the Group named its next ambitious project asMohammad Ali Jinnah University. It was granted its charter by the Government of Sindh in 1998 (Reference S.LEGIS:1(7)/98 datedJuly 01, 1998, which was finally promulgated in the year 2000 (Reference S.LEGIS:1(4)/2000 datedMay 18, 2000.
In recognition of its sterling services to the cause of excellence in education, the Group has been awarded yet another charter by the Government of Punjab to initiate theUniversity of Central Punjab.
The Group offers multiple disciplines such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Bio-Informatics, Biotechnology, Business Administration,
Hotel Management, Media Management, Commerce and Law, at Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan. The Group's colleges' current students' strength exceeds 21,000.

OBJECTIVES
The Jinnah University strives to :

Encourage the students to be useful and equal partners in the existing world order by acquiring professional and technological skills that compare in all respects to international standards.

Enrich the personal and professional capabilities of the students by recruiting and retaining a highly qualified and competent faculty.

Provide facilities, resources and services that ensure an environment conducive to intellectual growth, research and learning.

Facilitate the enhancement of students' interpersonal communications, democratic leadership, analytical ability and creative thinking skills.

KARACHI CAMPUS
MohammadAli Jinnah University's prestigious and spacious Karachi Campus has acquired an enviable reputation for its facilities and quality of education offered. It has an excellent record of success in a wide range of academic and professional training courses. The campus has made significant contributions towards scientific and technological development of its environs and has a reputation for adopting new technologies at a rapid pace.

ISLAMABAD CAMPUS
Located in the heart of the business center of the capital, the Islamabad Campus has provision of all the pre-requisite facilities and amenities befitting a modern university that specializes in research, training and academic programs in multiple disciplines at Graduate and Under-graduate levels. In addition to the excellent physical facilities, the centrally air-conditioned Islamabad Campus prides itself with the finest faculty in the capital.
