President Ahmadinejad: Iran making scientific progress swiftly
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that Iran is speedily moving on the path of scientific development.
Iran has witnessed a 7-fold rise in scientific products over the past seven years. Scientific progress in Iran is remarkably quick, extensive and profound. Our real scientific achievements show that interest in science and knowledge is on the rise, said Ahmadinejad in an address to model students from all over the country.He said Iran is making more scientific achievements day by day.Iran's share in scientific products has grown to about three percent from 0.3 percent in 2005 worldwide, said the president, adding that in fact in the past seven years the scientific output has increased seven folds, he added.
