Nazeri to perform in Paris

Iranian vocalist Shahram Nazeri will perform at the farewell ceremony of the director of Paris Théâtre de la Ville, Gérard Violette, on June 12.

Nazeri, who was invited by Violette, will give a 10-minute performance of Iranian traditional music at the event.  

Artists from the United States, India, Germany, and some African countries will perform in the ceremony.

Violette has been the director of Théâtre de la Ville since 1985 but will hand the helm over to Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota this month.

Shahram Nazeri will also give concerts in Yazd on July 3 and 4 and will tour Iran later in the summer, performing shows in Kerman, Qazvin, Isfahan, and Tehran, Nazeri’s manager, Mahmud Seraji,said.
