Enemies will Gain Nothing in Opposing Iran's N. Progress

Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani here on Friday stressed that bullying powers cannot dissuade Iran from making nuclear progress, stressing that enemies' efforts in this regard will yield no fruit.

"Bullying powers cannot achieve any result by practicing force against the Iranian nation and their efforts will bear them no fruit except for increased problems for them, the region and the world," Rafsanjani stressed during his second sermon while addressing a large congregation of the worshippers on Tehran University Campus here today.
He continued, "After ElBaradei's report, they (West) started their radical moves intermingled with the language of threat. But I hereby tell them very explicitly that they can't achieve any results in this way. Thus, they should give up their preconditions and sit to the negotiating table."
"Their most important point pertains to their lack of trust in Iran, but if they try the path of negotiations, we are ready to fully assure them that we are not seeking military use of the nuclear technology because the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) has no room in the Iranian culture," Rafsanjani underscored.
