DO WE KNOW THE AHLULBAYT A.S ?
The Infallible Imams are the spirit of the universe. The whole universe is dependent on their holy beings. This is a fact reflected in the luminous sayings of Holy Imams. A precious Hadith quoted from Imam Sajjad (as) reads:
“It is in the light of us that Almighty Allah keeps the sky from collapse and the earth from quakes and devastation. It is due to our existence that Allah showers His blessings upon you people.”
That’s a truth! The fourteen infallible personalities (the Holy Prophet, Imam Ali, Holy Fatima, and 11 Infallible Imams) are those through whom Allah, the All-Beneficent, bestows His blessings on His servants. The heart of the universe shall stop from beating forever and the earth shall swallow all its inhabitants if they could at all imagine continuing life without the Holy Household (Ahlul-Bayt) even for just a single moment!
All of us know that how dear were Ahlul-Bayt to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and how they were brought up under the support of the kind Messenger of Allah. Holy Imams have always been the nearest people to the Holy Prophet who practically made him as a role model in their lives.
Now it is incumbent on all truth-seekers to announce their inner beliefs and deep faith in the Ahlul-Bayt (as) all over the world, put in practice the way of salvation as prescribed by them, and fill the earth and its sky with the love for those shining stars of purity and piety.
We should not confine ourselves to reading the letters of the ‘Dua of Tavassol’ or ‘Ziarat Aale-Yasin’. We should not please ourselves by mere repetition of the Holy Ahlul-Bayt’s names or gaining little knowledge about them. It should be noted that Imam Ali cannot be summarized in the Mosque of Kufah or his character confined within the night when he was martyred. In the same way, Imam Hussein (as) is a character far beyond the impressive event of Karbala and the day of Ashura……
By the way, have you ever thought how much of your heart is dedicated to the Ahlul-Bayt? Or to what extent you have taken advantage of their sayings or benefited from the lessons of their life histories in order to illuminate the path of your life?
I’m sure that you firmly believe that the whole world is waiting with an imploring look to the coming of a great man who shall reappear some day to release the mankind from storms of oppression and injustice. He is the one to whom all creatures are indebted; he is the hidden sun in the hope of whose light all blossoms smile at us.
